When the idea for being loved was born, there was already a great fascination with glass and the craftsmanship behind it. Making things by hand and knowing how to do it has always fascinated us. That's why we set out to find the best glassblowers for our Delights. The first thing our team did was take a glassblowing course themselves - a very inspiring, but also extremely exhausting (and above all hot) thing!

It is fascinating to take a look into a glassworks and see how many steps are involved and how much craftsmanship goes into making a Delight glass light. Most are made in a family business in the Czech Republic. Two people work together hour after hour - in our case it is father and son who blow our glass lights as a team and enjoy the different colors themselves. Because every glass is always a surprise and is not like any other.
